When they were in high school, a legendary fighter named Choi Ki-woong and a timid straight-A student named Park Young-jun leave for a field trip to Gyeongju city. But during their journey, fate befalls on them as they experience an unforgettable incident that would change the course of their lives.

Years later both are brought back together in their old town, yet the straight-A student has become a big-time gangster and the fighter has become a tough teacher for the same school he used to attend. Rivalries flair up with the arrival of Min Ju-ran, a pretty woman whom they both fall for. With the two battling for her love, friendships are shattered and the whole city is brought into a mess of love and war!
