Han Suk-kyu
HAN Suk-gyu is one of the most popular and versatile actors in
Korea and is known for the humanism he brings to his roles. In the
film industry, he is referred to as the "HAN Suk-gyu Phenomenon"
because every film he has starred in has been successful including
"Shiri" the highest grossing film of all time in Korea.
In 1999, to contribute to the development of Korean films, he launched
the Mak-dong screenplay competition named after his character in
"Green Fish".
